I started BoxyCharm last month and this is the second box I’m getting. I was very happy with my April box so I continued my membership. I was subscribed to Ipsy but for $11 more, BoxyCharm is actually worth paying for. I love getting full size, high end makeup and beauty products! Here’s everything I got in my May box, including reviews on each product I got.

Han Skin Care Lip Gloss In Nude Rose $15
Unlike the gloss in last months box, this lip gloss is comfortable on the lips and it’s not sticky! The formula is smooth and creamy and the color is pretty. I just wish that BoxyCharm would give lip colors like nudes, browns, or greige colors because in the past two boxes they have pink colors.

Cover FX Blurring Primer $38
For $38 I definitely wouldn’t buy this with my own money, but since I got in in my BoxyCharm, I’m happy with it. It blends really good and it makes my skin feel soft. It definitely does give a “blurring” effect. This isn’t a bad primer! The texture of it reminds me of the NYX Photo-Loving Primer, except the Cover FX one has a nude color to it and the NYX one is clear.

Aesthetica P12 Face Brush $27
When I first felt the bristles on this brush, it felt cheap and like it would shed a lot but once I actually used it, it definitely changed my mind. This brush is literally so versatile. You can do pretty much anything with it. I used it to set under my eyes and also to contour and put on blush. It’s my new favorite face brush.

Aesthetica 3 Piece Eye Trio $45
This eye trio is really pricey, and I probably would never spend my own money on it but I love it! It comes with an angled eyeliner brush, a spooly, and a fine tipped eyeliner brush. They all work really good and I love the fine tipped eyeliner brush because it’s small which makes it easy to get a precise wing.

Pretty Vulgar The Ink Gel Eyeliner $24
I’m so happy that this came in my BoxyCharm! I’m in love with it. It has so much product in it and the pigment is amazing. It’s worth every penny. I drew the Pretty Vulgar logo on my arm using the gel liner and the fine tipped eyeliner brush that came in the trio. It’s not perfect but I only did it so you can see how pigmented it is, and how precise the brush is.

PUR Sculptor Palette $30
I never tried anything from PUR so I was excited to try this palette. The highlighters aren’t exactly blinding but they do give a subtle glow. The matte contour shades are really good though, they’re definitely my favorite part about the palette. I don’t have any contour shades this dark but I used it to give more definition and it looked amazing. The shades are very pigmented too, they’re buildable and blend-able.
